Here's a few random songs that I have enjoyed so far this summer:
1. Wasted - Tiesto. Matthew Koma
"Wasted" is your perfect drinking song. It's definitely a let's- all-get-really-fucked-up and have a good time song. It's upbeat, and a great song if you want to get in the mood to drink, so turn it on at your next pre-game.

2. Talk Is Cheap - Chet Faker
I cannot stop listening to this song. "Talk Is Cheap" is a weird hybrid between jazz and low-key techno. I have no idea what that description means but you listen, you may understand. It's a definitely a chill, laid-back type of song.

3. Sleeping With A Friend - Neon Trees
You probably have heard this song on the radio, but I promise it's still actually good. I've always been a fan of Neon Trees, and I think this is one of their better songs. It's super catchy, and just a fun song in general. I've played this pretty much every time I've gotten into the car for the past 2 weeks.

4. (Everything Is) Debatable - Hellogoodbye
You may remember Hellogoodbye from their "Here (In Your Arms)" days, but now the one-hit-wonders are back in action with some really good new music. "(Everything Is) Debatable" is what I would describe as a typical upbeat hipster song. Again, no idea what that description means to anyone, but that's what it is for me. I like that Hellogoodbye is a thing again though.

5. Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? - Arctic Monkeys
This is the epitome of a cool song. I feel slightly more cool every time I listen to it. I'm a big fan of the Arctic Monkeys, and I'm an especially big fan of their album "AM", which is the album "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?" is featured on. Apparently Miley Cyrus covered this song...but I decided spared my ears the pain of listening to that cover. No, Miley, you cannot ruin my favorite song.
